Phone System and Safe Arrival

Communication is important to our staff and we wanted to explain how the system works.

Upon dialing our school number, 425-413-3500, a voice answers that you have reached Lake Wilderness Elementary school. If you know the parties extension, please say or dial that number. If you want to reach a teacher, please say their name and you will be directed to their phone. During school time, you will automatically be directed to the teacher’s voice mail. Once you reach the party you are looking for, please leave a message.

If you want to contact the school for your child’s absence, please call the school number at 425-413-3500, press or say 2, then press or say 1. That will automatically put you into the safe arrival voice mail. At that point, please leave the name of the student(s), the teacher(s) name and the reason for the absence.

If you want to contact the main office, please call the school number at 425-413-3500, press or say 2, then press or say 2 to reach the main office. Music begins to play and your call is being connected to the office. If the office staff is unable to receive the call, the message center will come up asking you to please leave a message. We will return your message as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, our new system doesn’t allow for the office staff to be contacted without going through the message center. We truly apologize for any confusion and frustration as we work to better understand this system.
